Looking back: Production day 2 of 'We Have Our Ways'
Here's a look at day 2 of production on We Have Our Ways. We shot at three locations in one day. We were in a office, a cafe and an apartment. Our cast & crew was absolutely amazing and we made great time throughout the day! The cafe was the hardest location to secure, but we found the perfect location and the owner could not have been nicer and more accommodating to our crew.

Francis Ford Coppola in PDX
I was lucky enough to get to see Francis Ford Coppola last month at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. It was a great talk! One of my favorite parts of the talk is when he said he likes to write early in the morning because it is before anyone has hurt his feelings that day.
We Have Our Ways - Production Day 1
Here's a look behind the scenes of day 1 of production on We Have Our Ways. This is the new short film that I am producing. On day 1 we had an entirely female cast and crew. Our production designer said it was her first time "not being one of the only women on crew."

On location camera test - We Have Our Ways
Earlier this week: testing out a camera that's great in low light in an awesome warehouse location in Northeast Portland with our all-female crew. I am the Producer on the project and more work still needs to be done. We Have Our Ways starts filming next month!
Casting Call
I recently started producing an independent short narrative film. One of my many jobs includes posting this casting call on a number of sites, going through submissions, arranging an audition schedule and finding a place for auditions. At this point, we just about set with some great actresses who are interested in the movie. Here's the casting call I put out last weekend.
