My new favorite show

March 03, 2015

My new favorite show isn't on tv, it's on youtube. In fact, a lot of what I've been drawn to lately is on youtube. I'm loving this new web series from Cecile Emeke. It's called Ackee & Saltfish. I also bought and downloaded her short film of the same name. I recommend supporting artists that you're drawn to or inspired by. The short is for sale on a sliding scale, starting at about $4... you can choose to pay more if you want. I'm curious how this model works financially for those using it. A new episode of the series comes out on Sundays. I can't wait to see what's next. I definitely feel like there are some incredible web series out there that are better than some tv shows. I like these smaller bits of entertainment that feature content I don't see on tv. I'm also watching Life of Hers.
